Registration is now open for the second Annual Par-Tee Golf Scramble, taking place on October 18, 2024, at Shawnee Golf Course. Gather your friends or colleagues and sign up for a fun-filled day of golf, camaraderie, and community support.

 

Whether you're registering as a single ($125) or a foursome ($500), every team will receive one bottle of I Would Rather Be Reading's exclusive Monk's Road Wheated Bourbon Single Barrel Pick.

An enthusiastic golfer, David also champions youth development through his involvement with First Tee. His dedication to the community and love for the game make him an invaluable part of our Golf Scramble Committee.

Leading the charge on our Golf Scramble Committee is David Boone, a longtime board member, dedicated volunteer, and passionate golfer. As the Marketing Director at Miranda Construction, David brings a blend of creativity and heart to everything he touches, making him an invaluable part of our team.

John Shellenberg, an Edward Jones Financial Advisor and devoted committee member, has been a steadfast supporter of I Would Rather Be Reading. His passion for golf and commitment to our mission inspired the Golf Scramble, initiated when his wife, Julie Reczek of Reczek Chase Law, joined our board. John's vision and enthusiasm continue to advance our mission and positively impact the lives of the children we serve.
