This holiday season, Lights on Main returns to the Frazier History Museum—bringing together beautifully decorated Christmas trees, local businesses, families, and our community for six weeks of holiday magic.
But Lights on Main is about more than Christmas trees.
Every tree helps create an opportunity for a child.
Through Lights on Main, sponsors help I Would Rather Be Reading give kids across Louisville access to experiences that expand their world—from field trips and enrichment opportunities to meaningful moments with their families and community.

Opening Night brings together Lights on Main sponsors, supporters, community partners, and friends of IWRBR for a festive evening celebrating the season—and the impact we're creating together.
Family Day

Lights on Main isn't just something to see. We want families across our community to experience it together.
Family Day will feature free museum admission, festive craft activities, access to the Christmas tree exhibit, interactive vendors showcasing diverse holiday traditions, and additional holiday activities for families to enjoy together.
It's a day designed to make holiday memories accessible to everyone.

Holiday Sing-a-Long

Put on your favorite ugly holiday sweater and join us for one of our favorite nights of Lights on Main!
IWRBR students will help lead our community in a festive holiday Sing-a-Long, complete with an Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest and plenty of holiday cheer.
Through sponsorship, we're able to provide transportation, dinner, and ugly sweaters for participating IWRBR students while also opening the museum and Lights on Main experience to the community.
